“Your Days in My Club are Numbered” – Tuchel fires Back at Chelsea Star for Blasting Him after Leicester win

According to a newspaper story, Mason Mount feels underappreciated at Chelsea – and could even end up leaving the club.

The Daily Star Sunday say Mount, a product of the Blues’ hugely successful academy, wants a significant pay rise and does not feel he is getting the same recognition as other players at Stamford Bridge.

He reportedly earns £75,000 a week, which would make him a low earner compared to some of Chelsea’s highest-paid stars, and is said to be looking for a better deal.

‘A source close to the player’ is quoted as saying: “Mason is a top lad and thought of well within Chelsea, and is popular with the team. But he isn’t feeling appreciated anymore.

“He’s been at Chelsea since he was a tiny lad, but despite coming up through the academy, he doesn’t feel like he gets the same treatment or recognition as players bought in for big money.”

This is surely just an attempt by Mount’s representatives to secure a more lucrative contract for their player.

The report states that they are in discussions with Chelsea over a new contract for the England international, whose current deal has another three years left to run.

Mount is a popular figure at the club and has been with Chelsea since a very young age. Many fans would expect him to be at the Bridge for years to come – and that seems likely.

It seems very unlikely, on the other hand, that he would look to go elsewhere. Mount to leave Chelsea? Surely not.

And in any case, getting that improved contract seems a foregone conclusion given his continued role for club and country.

Chelsea are flying high at the top of the Premier League table after nine wins from their opening 12 games of the new league campaign.

At the heart of Thomas Tuchel’s all-conquering team of European champions is none other than England midfielder Mason Mount , who has quickly developed into one of Europe’s finest No.10s.

However, while Mount’s role at Chelsea seems certain to fans, mumbles from across the continent are beginning to suggest that his future may lie elsewhere.

your days in my club are numbered, you shouldn’t feel bad, because am trying my best to bring out the best in every player here…. Tuchel says to Mason Mount after leichester victory
